Beyond The Mask Podcast

Founder, Educator, and Trusted Financial Advocate for CRNAs
For more than twenty-five years, Jeremy L. Stanley, EA, CFP®, AIF® has devoted his career to helping Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) align their professional success with their personal dreams. Just as CRNAs are called to steward the physical, Jeremy is called to steward the financial—sharing his unique gift for simplifying complex financial and tax concepts in a way that empowers CRNAs and their families.
Jeremy is the President and Founder of CRNA Financial Planning® and its sister firm, CRNA Tax Associates®, both of which focus exclusively on serving the financial, tax, and retirement needs of CRNAs. His firms are recognized leaders in the CRNA community, with CRNA Financial Planning® honored as an AANA Member Advantage Partner.
A passionate advocate for the profession, Jeremy co-hosts the award-winning podcast Beyond the Mask Podcast, consistently ranked among the Top 50 Medical Podcasts in America. Through this platform, he educates and inspires CRNAs on issues within and beyond the operating room. He is currently partnering with the AANA in the 1099 Institute Education video series designed to help CRNAs master the business side of independent contracting. Jeremy is also the author of two AANA-CE approved books:
- The Wealthy CRNA – a foundational roadmap for CRNAs to build financial freedom.
- A CRNA’s Life After Anesthesia – a comprehensive guide to planning for retirement.
As a Public Trustee of the AANA Foundation and a former member of the Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Health Nurse Anesthesia Advisory Committee, Jeremy remains deeply engaged in advancing the profession. His leadership and insight extend to multiple boards and professional associations, and his work has been recognized through numerous honors, including being named an Honorary Member of the AANA—an achievement he holds especially dear.
A dynamic and engaging speaker, Jeremy has presented to thousands of CRNAs and SRNAs across hospitals, universities, state associations, private groups, and AANA events nationwide. His audiences consistently praise his approachable style, humor, and ability to make “money talk” both enlightening and enjoyable.
Beyond his professional life, Jeremy treasures time with his wife, Sara (a CRNA), and their children, Lauren, Hollyn, and Landon. He’s also an avid traveler who loves bringing home a tangible reminder of his adventures—adding to his growing collection of unique rocks from around the world.
