Generally, educators practice in silos. Every time we gather at meetings and have the chance to chat informally about challenges of all kinds, we learn that our issues aren't usually unique to our institutions. The isolation and overwhelm we feel is one of the primary reasons I've seen excellent educators, especially new ones, run away from academia. Podcasts are an amazing medium for building connections and community.
