Lynn Macksey, MSN, CRNA

Clinical Edition | Anesthesia Alchemy Co-Host

Lynn Macksey is a healthcare professional, published author, and public speaker. She has written four books and numerous peer-reviewed journal articles all in the field of anesthesia. Lynn’s first, best-selling book has been translated into Korean, Polish and Chinese. All of her books are sold internationally and are required texts in multiple anesthesia programs throughout the world. Lynn is also a contributing author for other publications. Recently, Lynn’s first book, Nurse Anesthesia Pocket Guide received the 2017 AJN #1 Book of the Year for Nurse Anesthesia, while her third book, Surgical Procedures and Anesthetic Implications: A Handbook for Nurse Anesthesia Practice received 5-stars and a perfect 100 from Doody’s Review Service.

This well-written and well-organized book focuses on the primary concerns of the anesthesia provider and delivers clear and up-to-date information. This is a valuable resource for CRNA clinicians and students.
